This is from Nevada Man thought it would be good in the guide....
Why cant I get a lock onto 119 with DP LNB's and how can I fix it?
The reason for this is that the Default TP used to give you Signal Quality for 119 is TP#2 12.239H
DP LNBs Do Not use Horizontal TPs per se but rather use a scheme called "Bandstacking" to convert the Horizontal TPs to vertical ones.
In order for you to get Signal Quality and a "Lock" on 119, go to Channel Scan
Select sat 119.0W EchoStar 7
You will note on the bottom where the TPs are listed there is a little Red Heart signifying the Default TP. Scroll down to it and Press OK on your remote twice.
This will allow you to change the TP Frequency of the default TP. Change it to 12.370 and Vertical Polarity.
Press Menu to go to the previous menu.
Scroll down to the Original TP 12.370V and change that one to 12.239 Horizontal Polarity.
Literally you have swapped the 2 TPs but making 12.370V the Default.
Go back to your Antenna Setup and now you should have Signal Quality in the Green and a Lock on 119.
